Ok, a definition on love, I will use the greek word for the sake of it being ONE word.

Agape.
It means Unconditional Love.

Don't love because someone gave you something, did something for you, just love them.

There are other loves too, philo (brotherly) and arias (physical).

So Christian best described in one word is a greek word. Agape.

Yes, I agree. Agape is the kind of love that describes Christianity. Non-Christians are definitely capable of love, but it's a different kind of love. No one can experience real, true, pure love until they experience the love of God.

I read the bible, I form my own opinions, but most importantly I try to keep an open mind

i only say Christianity is love because of Christ and what He did(meaning beyond His death, but we'll include that as well if need be )

I agree but that is what a perfect christianity religion would be, its not that I disagree with you, just trying to be realistic

the part of human beings that come into it for me is, i also see how God reaches beyond our exclusive little club of Christianity, and see other major leaders of other religions do the same thing of loving their neighbors as themselves, and showing the fruits of the Spirit.

Showing love for your neigbor is the big message though

so those human beings that say, "I am a Christian" have all the deep theological stuff in their head, but can't obey simple commands, i'll love them as best as i can, and scratch them off as some definition of what it is to be christ-like.

I just don't think about it lol

Christianity is a name which has become tainted with pagan traditions.
I do not consider myself to be called a Christian. Christianity, and all of it's man-made additions is NOT the way to YHWH.
A right relationship with YHWH, based on the scriptures is what a believer sould seek and strive for, NOT Christianity.

I could be called a follower of "the way", a "believer", a "brother", a "saint", or a "disciple" .....and be a follower of Yahshua.

But Christianity IS the only way. It is above all others.

What gets me is that the OP asks us to define Chrisitanity in one word.

Which Christianity is that......the corrupted version(s) of today, or the Chrisitianity of the first century?

I mean no disrespect to you or anyone in this thread, but my point has been, not to mince words to make myself look more correct, as you said, but to tell the truth as I see it, and that is that "the Christianity of today", and "following in the footsteps of Yahshua"....do not, by any means, equate to the same thing.

Perhaps the OP's question would have better read as something like.....
"Define your spiritual relationship with God in one word." or
"Define you walk in the spirit in one word."
