John 14:15, "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
Romans 12:1, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."

I haven't achieved this, not even remotely and, quite frankly, I know of no one who has! It amazes me the number of people I come in contact with that profress they are Christian. The only standard of measurement is the Bible. Everything else is just an opinion!

Not one new believer, just over the threshold of a new life in Christ is there yet! They are Christians, are they not?

You are taking away, rather than edifying. Understanding Scripture to the point of eating that bit of meat comes with obedience and learning.

Being a Christian means being a disciple of Christ. Being a disciple of Christ not only means believing who He says He is in your heart, but doing the work He has called all Christians to do.
