  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

What downers!! Tell them that they now have no excuse to forget your child's birthday:) My husband was born on Christmas eve. His parents decided to celebrate his birthday on St. Patricks day, which is the half way mark and it is also his name! He always got his favorite cake on Christmas Eve with a card but got gifts on his half way birthday. That is an idea!!!!

I wouldn't listen to them. Babies come when they are ready. I had comments about my "Halloween baby" and it's like uh...does that effect all October babies. November babies got Thanksgiving right? Are March babies for St. Patrick's Day? Seriously...

Exactly! It's sad that everyone immediately thinks of a major holiday instead of the birth of a child. It's the consumerist way of this world, I think. It didn't even occur to me when I calculated Dec 12th or so that it was close to Christmas. I was/am too excited to be pregnant in the first place! :)
