Amen! Hope everyone is doing good. Will yall help me pray about something? Ive been doing some counseling the last few months... since november.... anyways..... the person that covered my shift for the day that i go every week cant do it anymore because her husband's hours have changed and she doesnt drive.... anyways.... I know that my time with this counselor is not done..... but unless there's someone to cover my shift... there is pretty much no way to continue.....

Thinking of you as you wait on the Lord for direction. I'll pray for Josh.....I hope he did feel well enough to go to school.....or is that now? I get the time differences mixed up sometimes.....it's Thursday evening here in NZ. Did they come and inspect your place after all?

Bless you, Patti.....bless you and I pray for you moments of pure joy each day as you see the beauty and wonder of God's creation all around you.....in the nest right by your door, the perennials growing as they will and in your son, Josh.....may these just help you as God ministers to you much peace.

It's pelting with rain right now.....really pouring down.....and whenever it does, I always think of places where drought has struck and where folk need water desperately. We are so blessed here in New Zealand with abundant supplies of water.

I hope you ones are all enjoying some beautiful spring days and getting the most out of the sunshine coming your way. I think of Spudgrandma and pray she's having a richly blessed time with her daughter and grandchildren right now.

Christian, I hope your little girl has settled well into family life with you ones.

Here's a pic I found on the Net the other day.....I love it as it reminds me of the journey we're on with Christ. The journey is long and the seas can be rough.....there are times when all seems dark.....but God is always with us, walking with us, and His light can never be dimmed.

So, I have gotten much in order that should be, but there is more that can be done. I really rather they do not come to my unit. But, I must submit, yes?

I almost applied for a job as a bank teller this morning and I felt the Spirit kind of saying no. So, I just will wait. I am applying for Home Health Care Aide and office work. Something will come up.

God is providing for us, a friend loaded us up with some food and soda pop yesterday. Hadn't seen her in 1 1/2 years and I was just so glad to see her at all! I never expected her to give so generously, I forgot that is her nature! What a blessing.

The church had given me food to share with my neighbors on Sunday. Just some cereal and peanut butter. They had extra and I live with a lot of single mom's all around me. Well, God provided me with the seed and now I am reaping a harvest. I have enough to share some more, too! Isn't GOD GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! I share these things so that you might be encouraged to give when you don't think you have anything to give, I have seen miracles happen in my life from obedience to the Word. This time, God gave me the seed and said go sow! I didn't even realize this had happened until the harvest came washing back over me! God's Word is so true!

Thank you for asking, she is getting along famously. It is so strange; we were all prepared for this long, drawn out attachment disorder and we haven't seen a single sign of it. She is so cuddly and so cute and she seems to be just as crazy about us.

BTW, I'm still keeping your friend in my prayers, I hope things are going well for her.

That if a wonderful thing to do, Patti. And it is such a compelling testament to the way God cares for us through each other.

I used to give my spare change to homeless people in NYC, even when I was unemployed and on the verge of eviction and didn't really have 'spare' change. I wasn't a Christian yet, but I think God still looked into my heart and saw what I did, and He always made sure I had what I needed to survive.

I am so grateful that He helped me along the path which lead me to Him. In fact, I'm going over to the Praise Jesus thread JJay started to say so.
