Father thank You for this thread, for drawing so many here, and bringing us together in unity and celebration of You. We may not know all that is in each of our hearts, that maybe there are no words to express the anguish, pain, sorrow, devastation, anxiety, angst, or whatever may plague us, Your children....but You do. How thankful we are that we do not need to know, but just lift it all to You. And that Your peace, which passeth all understanding wil keep our hearts and minds through Your beloved Son. Greetings, peoples, I have a little request.
Please pray for some friends of ours here in Germany who also adopted a Haitian child. They have a second child now, a little girl 8 months old who is very sick. They brought her here on a medical visa so she could receive treatment, and I don't know exactly what her ailments are. She is doing very poorly right now and has been admitted to the hospital full-time. I'm sure it is stressful and painful for them, but their other child needs them to be strong. So please pray for their comfort and for the healing of their baby. Thanks.

Good afternoon to all...

Wondered if y'all could pray for my brother Donnie. He had his knee replacement surgery yesterday and everything is fine. He's in a lot of pain though...it's not an easy thing to go through. What he really needs prayer for however is to lose weight. He's in serious trouble right now...and it's slowly killing him. Usually he can lose weight pretty easily when he puts his mind to it. But he hasnt been finding it that easy this time...and is somewhat depressed as a result.

I'm sorry to read things are tougher for you. It's difficult for me at times to understand why we must have pain and discomfort. I pray for your continued good spirits!
I also pray that God will lend His strength to LT's brother Donnie so that he may find the will to do what he must to stay healthy (I know ALL about the weight thing ).
