Second you say we measure radionuclide decay. You say this decay has a known rate that you feel comfortable with. because of the ongoing endeavor to determone with more accuracy what those rates are for each element.
I am comfortable with what we see in decay rates until I can be shown that they are not constant and/or have changed in the past. I have not seen any data in the scientific literature that suggests different. And again, let's not confuse cosmogenic radionuclide oscillation with over all decay rates.
