• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. i would like to make an apology to every person my last thread hurt...
please forgive me for hurting your feelings. i did not mean to hurt anyone's feelings. for those of you who pmed me with your hurt and anger i am so glad... i got to love you through that. other's that felt bad and left: i tried to pm you... if i missed anyone i'm sorry. i do feel really bad and want everyone to know that i did not mean for people to go away. i only wanted some to reach out more to the family and communities they are in... so that someone could help at home too. love dee............... ?

Don't worry Dee, I think we all (or at least the majority) realize that you did it out of love. I think many people maybe read it when looking for help (as I did) and it hurt at the time. Like I have told you though, I realize now that it is what caused me to call for help. I may not have done that had you not written that. So at least if no one else...you helped me Dee.

I think sometimes the truth hurts. We just need to realize that while it did hurt..you are not what caused the hurt. It may seem like it was the words, but really it was inside us the realization that it was the truth.

And yes, some of us may not have family, but I also understand what you were trying to get us to seek help from people we can be with in the same room.
Don't be sorry you posted it. I think it probably helped a lot of people once we got over our hurt.

You are such a sweet person. I know you would never try to hurt anyone ever. You are only doing all you can to help and I thank you for that. I love you Dee!
