In my experience, kittens are only loveable and cute so that they can bait you in and unleash the claws. Kittens are nature's mousetrap, literally

Now, puppies? They know no dishonesty, and are only capable of love and producing copious amounts of saliva. Which, the saliva can be a problem, but at least you can still wear short sleeves after petting one. You just have to remember your Germ-X.
