No, it is not, as evidenced in a great many places. And, as said before, even it was based entirely on faith, that doesn't make it a religion. I can have faith (ie., belief without supporting evidence) in virtually anything...that the Dodgers will win the next World Series, that men are better drivers than women, that Sandra Bullock secretly lusts after me...that doesn't make those beliefs religious ones. Once again, having faith in something does not make it a religion.

Are you talking about me, or the generic 'you'? If the former, you're wrong, because I think I'm slightly above average in 'smartness', and I am, in fact, slightly above average in 'smartness'. Similarly, I can't "realise" that I know nothing in reality, because I do know something in reality. If the latter, then it's rather silly to generalise so.

And I still say there is no evidence, I haven't seen anything that was not ACCURATLY refuted.

Then I can only assume that you either have not seen much of the evidence (which means you haven't looked), you haven't understood it (much as you don't understand the definition of 'religion'), or you didn't understand the 'refutations' (and thus didn't see how they were flawed). There is ample evidence to satisfy the world's scientists, who know vastly more about the subject than either you or I.

In otherwards, just because someone thought it happened, does not mean it did.

Sufficiently obvious for it to have been a waste of time pointing it out. You might, however, think about it in relation to creationism, which is completely unevidenced.

They are two different beliefs which do not contradict one another. Despite you (and other creationists) maintainnig that 'real' christians are creationists, the facts prove you wrong. The vast majority of the world's christians happily accept evolutionary theory, and view creationism as a 'whacko' belief right up there with flat-earthers and elvis-ate-my-baby National Enquirer fans.

I think that's where faith comes in, believing God when he said he would preserve his word forever.

It can be understood, with study, which is why the bible so often recommends studyint God's word. The meaning (except when it is very simple) is not going to drop into your lap like a ripe apple. Just as the creation needs to be studied to glean its meaning.

When both are studied, then we don't need to turn a blind eye to one in order to hold to a childish misinterpretation of the other. We can understand and accept both.

Heh, no actually, I was watching a documentary on Bill Clinton I got from Netflix, while my father browsed the internet.

I have done so, many times. I have more creationist books on my shelf than you do, I'd bet. You see, I consult both...creationist claims and science claims. That enables me to determine which are bogus. Perhaps you should try it.
