I dont think anyone here has the authority to tell you that you are wrong, but to argue with someone that is telling you that you are wrong makes you no better then them. If he wants to tell you that you are wrong, let him.

As for your story, very interesting, but how did you come back to life? What happened?

Actually as Christians we are to admonish and correct each other, it is what someone does when they care for others. But I think I get your point. None of us actually *know* what happened, especially since he never went to a doctor to clear other explanations. It wouldn't be disbelief if he were to go to a doctor, because if he is wrong then he can accept that. If he isn't then interesting. We are to test things to make sure they're true or of the faith. A healthy dose of skepticism isn't misconduct, but wise.

It's very possible he got up too fast and an underlying medical problem caused a "crash". Which is why I suggest going to a doctor. I remember being knocked unconscious once. I was unconscious and felt very calm and peaceful and had a floating sensation. I was unconscious and yet aware of something, apparently I was aware that I had been knocked out heh. While that is not exactly like the OP's account it is something to consider. He could have very well been on the edge of death, so again See a doctor

My experience was that I was never asleep. My state of consciousness changed from the extreme unpleasantness of dying to a state of complete peace. Then suddenly I knew I was back.

Yeah, and pigs fly out our butt, too. Strassman's an idiot and a likely a fraud. There is one peer-reviewed study that observed this in cats, but no one has been able to confirm Strassman's "discovery."

B/S. Among other things, I train law enforcement officers in identifying drug usage and being able to identify new and designer drugs on sight. There is no such training currently being offered law enforcement. Nothing reaches the training stage of education until it has passed peer review, and to my knowledge Strassman hasn't even submitted his far-fetched and unscientifc ideas for peer review.

Strassman gets even weirder toward the end of his book by claiming that DMT may someday provide access to alternate universes and alien beings via "superconductive quantum computing of the human brain at room temperature", or via interactions with dark matter. Strassman states: "Because I know so little about theoretical physics, there are fewer constraints reining me in regarding such speculations."

You really want to try to pass this nutball off as an "expert" of any kind? Maybe we should see what kind of "constraints" a mental institution or a good substance abuse treatment program might place on his wild speculations.

Well Eeryman, Your body did not die. Had you died (in the clinical sense) your body's organs would have all shut down. No brain activity, heartbeat, nor kidney function or breathing. You would have soiled and wet yourself. Lastly, since you are a man, you would have had an erection.

It looks like to me, that you may have had a Near Death Experience.
