CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It didn't actually come from the song per se. It was a progression of things very organic. My last name starts with a Mc-, so it's natural that some people may call me Mac. And a buddy did that. Then it was smac. Then smacarena. And I chose it a long time ago for an AIM name. And I've used it for an online name ever since. I like it; it's original.
Who is your favourite comedian?
Excellent question. For stand-up, I really like people like Brian Regan he's goofy and hilarious. I like folks like Sinbad, Jerry Seinfeld, George Carlin (though some of his stuff is pretty anti-Christian, and I would steer you away from that), and I'll have to admit that I like some of the Blue-Collar Comedy guys. Their stuff is pretty hilarious even clever. In movies/TV, I like stuff like Chris Farley. Anything that guy does cracks me up. I've become a big fan of people like Steve Carrell, Will Ferrell and "Saturday Night Live's" Weekend Update. So that's a sampling.
