This one was written out of my romantic side, hehe, but also about my parents relationship. They divorced last year in March, announced it to the family in May. I wrote this to portray what I thought marriage should be, and what I hope it will be.

If I may,- and I believe I should seeing as how people so much more readily offer their own works rather than their opinions here- I have a small suggestion. You might want to try dividing up paragraphs. Though it is by no means long-winded, the length and format did make me want to say it all in one breath. Would you mind if I tinkered with the wording some?
As for your parent's situation, I can relate and you have my empathy in that. I just realized that it was ten years ago when it happened and my father has since remarried, but some wounds never really close.

Likewise, you also have my empathy for your situation. Although, I cannot say I know how you feel, because every situation is different, and people have varying thresholds of pain. Wounds like that take time- God's time- to heal. I know sometimes we wish they would heal faster, but without suffering, there cannot be compassion. That's what I've learned, at least.
