I'm sure if this is the right place to post (mods move if necessary) this thread, but how should Christians deal with internet (atheist) trolls? I've often found myself being targeted by trolls because of my faith. First they start off with asking questions which I answer, and then they turn their questions into aggressive statements which forces me to engage in a pointless argument, then they accuse me of being coward by wanting to walk away and that I failed to answer their questions. It makes me angry because they have no real interest in learning, they just want to tie me in a knot and force me to admit that the bible is wrong, which I don't want to because I know its not true. But I feel like I've failed to represent the teachings of the bible. Most of these guys come across as ex-members of the church, I often consider them to be the most dangerous and damaging in their views.
What does the bible tell us to do when approached by these sort of people?
And what would you do, or what do you do when you find yourself in a similar situation?
