You what?

...was just thinking casually of some bits of the mass prayers... like the creed part where we say that Jesus was created before all the ages. Could be, could be not, it's a theological idea that I cannot solve with my small mind. I trust they got it right, but even if they didn't, there is hardly any harm done to anyone...

As the scripture says :-
John 6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

Folks expect religion to teach them instead, but it cannot, because it is divided, doesn't know from God the Father... folks don't take what God has said seriously, they expect sinners to do the work fro them, but sinners cannot do so, so they 'fudge' it and we have divided religion where indoividual interpretations determne sects and denominations and few look and see that it must almost all be invented by men, sinners... most of religion must be lies from Satan because it is not one truth from God, but divided -right down to individual opinions which are worthless! :-

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

God Himself teaches the saints to love :-

1 Thessalonians 4:9 But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

Most folks don't habve this spirit baptism in this life [Matt 7:14] , so they don't stop being unloving [sinning] ... religion just pretends to them it is OK to continue to sin, but God says it is not :-
2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

So we find Jesus confirmed how few he will resurrect and translate to spirit at his return , not a single sinner then :-

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Luke 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

But religion ahs this wrong too, according to God , although there are but few firstfruits , tens of thousands only [Jude 1:14] , Jesus says more exactly just 144,000 of the non-Jewish House of Israel an the Jews [Rev 7:3-98] but that countless amn are saved LATER [Rev 7:9-10]

but we know the many are 'destroyed' in death [Matt 7:13] , how can these sinners be saved after death ?

Again , God explains in scripture, the first resurrection is of the few justified by the enw ovenant with Israel's children [Jer 31:31-34] and the second resurrection is of the unjust , the sinners, who live righteously in the kingdom fo God set up by the few under Jesus' rule [at last] of love...

Jesus NEVER intended to rule more than the few in this life , his kingdom is not of this earth, but of the righteous new earth where the many are saved [not here] :-

John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world:

2 Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

How an one have read scripture and not noticed that God shows that modern religious tradition is false ? that the world already worships a false image of a god an Chrits, just as Jesus said would happen...

Why do folks trust sinners and ignore Jesus ?

As a Christian Universalist with a unitarian Godhead, when I encounter hymns that run contrary to my beliefs I either skip that particular word or phrase or I use one more suited to my beliefs. For example, in Holy, Holy, Holy, I use the phrases "who wert, and art, and ever shalt be" and "Only thou art holy, there is none beside thee" Another example is the Old 100th Doxology and I phrase it as Praise God from whom all blessings flow
Praise God all creatures here below
Praise him ye heavenly hosts above
Praise him my soul, for all his love. Amen.
I can sing the Gloria Patri either in its traditional form or the following- Glory be to the Father, Almighty God, through Jesus Christ our Lord. As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be. World without end, Amen.

So what is this talking about ? 1Thess 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

That's always been one of my problems with organized religion as a whole, especially in a church with hundreds of people, you're going to run into something you don't agree with. I wouldn't say something I didn't believe was true just because everyone else was. Admittedly, I've only ever been to a church when there was no worship service at the time, and personally I just feel more comfortable with the Divine when I'm alone or with a smaller group. Not to say that different beliefs are a bad thing though.

Does any of that make sense?

Any sin against anyone is unloving disobedience to Christ ...

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

- the bible thus says clearly, unambigiously, that no sinner follows Christ, indeed Jesus himself says he never knew any sinner :-

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Luke 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
