Dealing with RNAdmin

Real Player is pure evil on a stick!

Okay, that might be a bit harsh. Anyway, here's a recent problem I had, and for those with the same issue, how I fixed it

My computer had been running super-slow, the CPU was running at 100% even when I wasn't doing anything! Whenever I shut down, I would get a "RNAdmin is not responding" message, and had to click "end now" to finish shut down.

So, I did a google search fro RNAdmin, and found out that it was the cause of my problem! It turns out that it's a Real Player file, so I uninstalled Real Player, and deleted the "Real" folder from Common Files. It's like I have a new computer!

Anyway, I just figured I'd throw this out just in case someone else had the same problem

Another problem: Is there anything other than Real Player that I can use to play asp files?

I hate realplayer so what I did was to disable the start center so it only loads if it's a real player file and when I close it the program closes........

Actually, I was trying to listen to the live stream over at inforadionet.com, and the file it downloads is called rammaker.asp

thank you justinhulsey, I have been experiencing similar issues, but did not realize what was to blame. What is the common folder you reference?

I'm using windows XP, so it might be a little different if you have another operating system
click start
go to "my computer"
open C:
open "program files"
open "common files"
in there you should find a folder named "Real"(or something similar), delete it.

Before doing all of that, however, make sure you uninstall the Real Player.
