  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I can't wait to see Deadpool. I'll probably have to wait until it comes out on DVD/Bluray but, yeah, I'm all about it.
Violence in a comedic setting like this doesn't bother me. I could do without the nudity but I can deal with it.

The R-rating should be enough to tell people not to bring their kids to this one.

I wasn't really into seeing it, but people I went with said it was mostly sarcasm and super hero humor.
=/ I didn't like it at all. The nudity wasn't as bad as the never ending gory revenge torture scenes. I use to be a huge horror movie fan...not so much anymore.
I guess the funny spider man look alike, guy girl love idea was cool...but anything good got lost in all the muck. lol

I finally seen it. It was good, I enjoyed it. However with that said the nudity really didn't need to be there, story would have been fine without. As with the swearing, could cut out 75% of the swearing and it still would be good. As for gore, true, it could have done without it but that would defeat the purpose of Deadpool. Will I buy the movie? No. Will I see a sequel? Yes.

BTW people have mentioned nudity being bad. Well in its not that bad really. We at most show breasts and butts. In other countries nudity is normal and they show everything. Where as they are against violence. In america are movies are fully of violence. Me? I don't care with way. Doesn't really affect me. Though if forced to chose I'd say no nudity. Because the nudity we see on screen is an actual nude person. A breast is a breast. Where as someone getting their arm chopped off isn't real, its CGI or props. Anyways I think sex/nudity in america affects christians FAR more easier then violence does. Nudity can corrupt you and make you look online for more. Gore though, it doesn't really make you want to go look it up online. Though there are sites to see real gore, and in that case its much worse then anything hollywood can come up with.

i am abit desensitized by what they call "t&a", seen too much of it especially in great films i just had to see. what i am sick of and can do without is those darn silly lengthy love scenes accompanied by those dramatic melodies in the attempt to intensify the passion of the moment. those are so cheesy and cliche!!!! *rolls eyes*

profanity? i hear it nearly everyday in the public. but do i enjoy it when the film is full of filthy mouths? no.

violence? see my first comments above. it is afterall broken down to its basic components is acting, props, fake blood, sound fx, special fx, cgi, and great editing. but do i enjoy heapings of gratuitous violence? no.

It's probably one of the stupidest movie's I've seen in many years. Do not take your kids to this movie. It's make for teen audiences and, as mentioned, full of inappropriate scenes.

Teens should not even be seeing this movie. Responsible people should try to raise responsible kids. If I had a teenage child, I would not want her seeing anything R. In my opinion, from what I have seen since the 70s... G movies are really rated PG. PG is really PG13.

I saw half this movie. The sex and food scene.... nasty. Food is not meant to be used like that.

So true. While obviously we should avoid such things, the character is who he is because of whats in it. With the final wolverine movie coming out in a R rating, I'm sure people will hate it because it will be gory. But in some of the comics, they were R rated for sure. I mean I think people realize that a man with claws as weapons would not exactly be pleasant to see fight.
