  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Love 'em! Their hard rock, edgy sound is great. And I love the dude's testimony too...amazing!!!Jen
Yes the lead singer, Josh Brown, has a wonderful story to tell. He truely went through a total life change and he gives God all the praise.

I bouight their cd last week mainly because I loved "Cornerstone" so much. I figured any group who could write that song is worth buying the cd. I wasn't wrong! Their song "Detainer" probably rocks the most but after Cornerstone I'd have to say "Rain Song" and "Jacobs Dream" are my favorites. Let me add that I don't think there's a bad song on the cd.

I found out that Day of fire is going to be at Lifefest this summer in Oshkosh WI! I think I'll have to go just to see them play.
