I wish I could do it... My daughter, Me, and to other ladies I know would make four and that is still expensive but may be if I get all the details I can ask for a birthday present. I'd have to have all the details worked out ahead of time though before asking hubby. He wants all the hows answered.

I went to that thread you posted a link to and read many of the posts in it. I have been doing davidic dancing for 20 years at the church I know and also round dancing in praise to God. Everyone joins in in doing the mahkole at my church. Mahkole is the hebrew word for round dancing or social dancing that is found in ps. 149 and 150.
If you examine the two words translated dance that are used to describe how david danced you will find one means to prance like a ram and the other means to whirl around. Both of these methods I have employed in dancing before the Lord with fervor. Whirling around in mid air is really elevating. actually David had an ephod on when he danced which is like a robe. when I was baptised I came out of the baptismal tank with my wet robe on and danced down the aisle whirling around like david and my robe flaired out like his no doubt did, except I was slinging water everywhere . It was fantastic. I had been dancing before the Lord about 6 years when I got baptised the second time correctly in the name of Jesus.

I noticed several people in that thread you posted a link to claiming to be doing davidic dancing but from the heb. words used to describe David's dancing I can't see how what they do can be called davidic dancing. I'm not saying it's wrong. It isn't I'm just saying I dont think what they are doing is davidic dancing. It's too reserved for that IMO.
2 Samuel 6:21 And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD.
Now the word translated play here is this

I find that dancing as david did i.e. whirling and stamping and leaping causes one to laugh and play and make sport, in the spirit as God is there with you to bring unspeakable joy. I believe this is true Davidic dancing. Dancing as David did in the spirit and with the freedom he had causes one to abandon themsleves completely before the Lord.
all this precison dancing and getting the dance step just right is good and has its place but it is not davidic dancing. IMO.
I've been kicked out of rooms I accidently wandered into before. But hey I've been kicked out of 15 or so churches before for dancing before the Lord. (I lived away from home for a while and tried desperately to find a church that would allow davidic dancing to no avail ) WEll told to stop which to me is the same as being kicked out. I heard this phrase several times "brother you gotta tone it down."
