Name: David Morrison
Age: Mid-thirties
Gender: Male
Appearance: Salt-and-pepper hair, scholarly goatee, silver-rimmed glasses, brown eyes, with a skin color described as "melted dark brown crayon". He prefers nice, dark-wash jeans, a collared dress shirt (usually in blue), and sturdy sneakers. Also, he usually has a pencil or pen tucked behind his ear. He's not particularly muscular, but is a nice, lean, 5'11".
Personality: A very quiet bibliophile. David's locker is stuffed with books, which he eagerly grabs if he senses a long night ahead. He prefers harder fare like the old classics or BusinessWorld Magazine, but sometimes ventures into newer fiction. He tends to steer away from murder mysteries or mysteries of any kind, because he usually solves them before the book is halfway through, but he does have a penchant for Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie. He abhors the violence of his job, and often grows angry over the injustices he sees, but prefers to internalize it so his colleagues don't see. His daughter and his job are the two things he values most.
History: Born in Chattanooga, TN, David's family moved when he was six to live in England for four years. Two months after his tenth birthday, they returned to Tennessee, but at times David has a slight British accent. He was very well thought-of by the adults that knew him, both in his neighborhood, church, and school. That approval continued well on into his young adult life when he went to MIT for his business major. In Seattle he met and married Jenni Perkins, and together they had little Sydney, their only child. Two years after Sydney's birth, they divorced, with the little girl living at her mothers, but visiting her father every weekend. Worn down by his office job, David's interest was sparked by an article in the paper about the craze of forensics. Hustling through with formidible intensity, he received his major in one and a half years and became an accredited CSI.
