  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

As I was reading the Word of God these thoughts came to me in 1 Samuel 30:4.
You see David’s distress caused him to CRY until he had no more power to cry! :sigh:
Have you been there? I have, and it hurts real bad, it sucks big time, crying with a broken heart in utter distress and seeing God bless others and seemingly not me.
But look David in v6 after his grieving begins to think clear and “Encourages him self in the Lord” that’s what we need to do, take a deep breath look up and say “Lord you are with me I know”.
The word says “Although it delays (tarries) Wait for it” yes wait even at seeming delays, for God to change your life around, to bring joy and brightness into your life, that may be seems to be so sad now and so many down things get you. There is light there is hope. The Word says “Wait, rest in the Lord Wait patiently for it” and “You have need of patience that AFTER you have done God will you may receive the promise” You need to do Gods will first what ever that is for you, as I had to do once.
Do be strong they pain of our hearts is read by Gods Spirit, He groans with us, and will abundantly reward us.
Be strong and hope in God …Take care bless you John :)

I was just reading lamentations and that also spoke deeply into my situation in the same regards. I've used up my tear ducts ability to produce salt water a few times in the past week. lol

Thanks for the post. I pray that everyone who reads it will be touched in just the right way and blessed by the word of God through his humble servents at cf.
