Matt has been in quite a few relationships other than the one he's in with me. He casually dated for quite a while with no intentions what so ever (which I never understood). Right now we're both at the point where casual dating (or dating without a purpose) sounds totally pointless. Well, it's always sounded totally pointless to me...but not so much to him I guess. He's made mistakes, but those are in the past and I've forgiven him for those. Looking at the past mistakes he made helped me remember why I didn't date - I just didn't want the temptation and the likelyhood of me finding my soul mate at 15 was around slim to none.
Anyways, yeah, newly engaged.

I'm seriously dating, Lewis and I have been together for a year although it feels like a lot longer, I've had some bad relationships in the past and spent about 6 months praying that God would send me something or someone to make me happy again...and He did! Lewis and I have talked about engagement and as my youth leader once said you should only be in a relationship if you can see a future coz otherwse you're just leading them on and so although we are planning on getting engaged real soon (next few months hopefully) we are not going to get married for a while, have to go through uni and get decent salary first lol. Both sides of family are happy, he is going to sit my mum down and seriously ask her if he can marry me though not just like me discussing it with her! And everyone in church seems supportive, education comes first though!
