Oh, if ya'll could take a prayer request for me that would be so nice. Could ya'll pray that my boyfriend will ask me to go see Spiderman 2? I REALLY REALLY want to see it and I want to see it with him. I have been waiting for it to come out for so long! If ya'll could pray that God puts it on his heart to take me or SOMETHING please do so, I would really appreciate it. I keep praying and praying about it but it would help if other people were praying as well

Those people are right to some extent- you shouldn't worry about Mr Right. You are going to change and grow in so many ways before you're ready to make that kind of commitment. By all means, set your standards and don't budge, but don't worry about matching every young man you meet with that list of standards. They are also going to grow a lot. The attitudes and beliefs that someone may have now can change drastically through the years until they don't even resemble the same person.

For you right now- just enjoy life. Discover and hone in on your God given gifts and talents. Find what you love, find your purpose. Learn how to be happy and fulfilled on your own before you begin exploring the possibility of a Future Mr. Danigurl. And when you do begin exploring, don't settle for anyone that can't support and share in your life and all it's experiences.

Well, I was asked out on a date by my ex-boyfriend (I kinda saw it coming). He and I have remained friends (broke up probably 2 years ago), but it's never seemed like more than that until recently when he started looking at me all googely-eyed. I'm pretty confused. It's nice to have a guy to hang out with, and it's nice to be doted on, and there's a part of me that loves him. I just don't think there's anything different about the situation that would make it work any better than last time (we dated for about a year). Blah.

But anyway, I already had plans for when he asked me out, so I'm still dateless anyway!

Anyway, prayers would be greatly appreciated. I need to do what's best long-term, but sometimes it's tough.

Yah it's expensive to go to the movies. My family and I have started going to the "ghetto" movie theater. It's only $2 for the matinee for first run movies, and no I"m not kidding. They used to have a lot of gang activity there and at one time I think they had a bomb threat, so you take the risk, they give you a cheaper price lol. A policeman even takes your ticket.

Out here it's like 8 bucks a pop for a movie. I have so many I want to see...Spiderman, the Terminal, The Notebook, White Chicks, Chronicles of Riddick...I think I'll have to wait for some of them to come on DVD! Thanks for the prayers ya'll!

That's funny......

We have one kind of like that here in Richmond VA. Its called the Bryd Theater (one of the only original standing movie houses in ther area). The only thing that I do not like about it tho' is the area also. It is in the (how do I say this)~~~fruity? side of town. Ya know the $3 bill, football bat, kind of people. Other than that it is a great place to go. $1.99 for second run and they stay there for @ lest a week some times 2.
