I hope everyone has a VERY merry CHRISTmas this year. I just got back home from my Grandmothers funeral last night. We had been looking for the call to come @ any moment for the last 10 years. No matter how much you think you prepare for it its stilla shock to you.

The good side to it all is that she knew the Lord Jesus Christ Personally and she had given her life to HIm many years ago. So she is no longer in any pain, and has a perfect body now.

Who said anything about wallow in self pity. We did this to have a little fun. I think you should read the thread from beginning to end so that you can get an idea about this thread. Perhaps you are the one that need to lighten up a bit.

I am datless and plan to spend the next two years that way, devoting myself to God, and getting healthy and secure physically, mentally and spiritually, but i am by far no waif lol...

LOL. This isn't a pity party. The name of it is a joke. I think some of us (who are OK with being single) saw all the threads about people hating being single and couldn't really relate to that. So this is just a lighthearted fellowship thread.

I might have come in sooner, but I didn't know what a waif was. Finally my curiosity got the better of me.

It's good to have something to strive for, however, I have said that same thing every year for a while and every year is the same. But oh well, that just means more time to go camping, hiking, fourwheeling, and hunting.
