  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Dark Age of Camelot

Anyone play DAoC? I am on the Bors server in Midgard. If you like MMORPG's, this one is fantastic. The Graphics rock, there is player vs enviornment, Player vs Player and Realm vs Realm (which is Player vs Players from other realms).

You can also craft armor, weapons, gems with stat enhancement, alchemy, seige weapons, clothes, hats, ect. I play usually late night (after 9pm pacific). My chars are Lyghtningneverstryk, Healix, Tarnaak, and Greaybeard. If your on, look me up :)

I played it back about a year ago when it was released.

One word: BORING. Hitting about three different key combinations over and over and over and having to deal with the "level treadmill" is not what I consider "fun"...

Unfortunately, most MMORPGs are this way. I hear SWG is different, but I have my doubts since I thought AC2 was gonna rock everyone's world and it turned out to be tres disappointing...

Join the club, I used to run a DOD clan (half-life). *shudders* An hour or two on the forums, not an hour every day, plus emails and maybe 10 minutes on some little game, I'm still at less than a fifth of the time I used to be online.
