Dance Mat with Fighting Game?

Has anyone tried this? I was thinking about it....

Get two Dance mats...

Get a Beat-em-up like Mortal Kombat or Dead Or Alive, or Tekken Tag ot something....

...use that dance mats for the controllers while playing 2 player Beat-em-ups.

That would have to be an extreme laugh fest surley???

Trying special moves and stuff would result in hospital visits maybe but has to be worth a try?

I've done it. I think I pulled off a combo into super once. It was impressive. I also almost slipped. I'll stick to an arcade stick.

It's fun for a game or two but it's nearly impossible to pull off finesse in your fighting technique, so it quickly gets old.

i tried to, its really hard, i got a max of a 4 hit combo on doa3.
