My church has a huge divide - of those who think it is okay and those who don't... Basically, if you are under 30 you are okay with it (as long as you keep one foot on the ground - but even that is fading) and all the people over 30 hate it. We still change any of the songs that say 'dancing' in them to 'singing'

At my old Southern Baptist Church (1st Baptist Church of Orlando) where I was a member, I did not know if the church frowned on dancing or not, but then I told my pastor at the time, "There will be dancing at my wedding if you are the one who does the ceremony."

But at my current church dancing is not considered a problem.

We have two choreography ministries in our church - one adult, one 6-8 grades.
