It was at cheercamp,
we all walked up to the mat.
Sit down and stretch,
Make sure to keep your feet falt!
When they finally called our squad up,
(we were second to last),
Count to three, EAGLES!
Rallying onto the floor.
Oportunity has opened a door,
it's time to show them wwhat we're made of!
The music starts,
Missy Eliot begins to Rap,
Break up the counts,
One two and three,
watch us,
you see!
Roll an ankel as I strike the first pose,
no one notices,
as I feel the vomit climbing up my throat,
keep it in,
everyone's in this baot,
I can't let my team down.
Made up like a barbie doll,
I hope that I don't fall!
So much makeup,
big fake smile.
Can you tell we've rehearsed this for a while?
Second nature to me,
It's almost like when I breath.
One two three four,
Push her higher, just a little more.
Pop her up, watch her spin,
set her on her feet again.
Big smile,
rally till the end.
Screams and cheers,
chants and such,
P-R-OUD, we are proud of you!
Eagles, Eagles, Eagles!
The winnder of the dance contest is Eagle Point!
First place,
first try,
We all break down and cry,
thank your coach she's the best,
I think you all know the rest?
But really you don't.
Cheer reveiws, waiting for,
Getting sick,
A little more,
post butterflies and nausia,
but we did it we won!
((This is a bad poem, but I'm just writting how I feel about getting first place int he dance comp at camp!))
