Ability: Able to make a person's bones become as brittle as glass, just by touching that area on the person's body. [Ex. She can make the bone in your forearm like glass just by touching your forearm.] Also, she has lightning-fast reflexes, but she doesn't really consider them an ability, as such.
Personality/History
Personality: A regular drama-queen. Not afraid to look silly or make a fool of herself. Tough. She doesn't take lightly to being insulted or discriminated against. Open-minded and out-spoken. She doesn't sugar-coat anything, she tells it like it is. She no quitter. Although she can be hard to get along with, she'll defend those friends that she does have to the ground if needed. She's not afraid to engage in a fight, and she'll do so, with great skill in martial arts, if she feels the need to.
History: Came from a broken home. Her parents divorced when she was 11. Until she was sent to Xavier's School for the Gifted at age 14, she lived with her mother. Discovered her abilities at the age of 13. Graduated last year at Xavier's school, but she wanted to come to an acting college in California, so the Professor suggested that she temporarily stay at the House of M until she was accepted. It could very well be a while before she's accepted, considering her apparent . . . condition, but she's no quitter. She's determined to get in.
Other Info: Has won several acting/drama awards, as well as one award for excellence in Improv. Loves theatre, and anything to do with acting.
Found out about her powers when she was 13. She was walking home with her first boyfriend one night, when they decided to hold hands. They'd been together for 5 months, so such a decision was not unusual. She'd grabbed his hand no harder than usual, but by doing so, she crushed almost every bone in his hand. He was rushed to the hospital, and Dana, under the advice of her mother, was rushed to Xavier's school to get ahold of her dangerous powers. While attending, she took a martial arts/self-defense class and excelled in it.
Even though she has very good control over her powers, she still wears gloves to prevent hurting those she loves, just in case. She sometimes feels shame for those she's hurt accidentally. She doesn't usually reveal her abilities unless someone asks.
