I am glad you have come here today! You are young enough to have many years ahead! I am sorry that you have been separated from God and I hope that with time you will come to perceive His most holy and pure love, to recognise that Christians sometimes do not represent these qualities and in times when we depend upon them, their failures can have a catastrophic impact.

There has been many false teachers over the last 2,000 years that has caused Christians to teach confusing and contradictory ideas, to behave in un-Christlike manner so that it is difficult to really know the true nature of God and easy to end up following a counterfeit spirit instead.

As you spend more time working through your issues, trusting that God loves you and wants to save you, it will become apparent that you have picked up some misleading ideas this way. I made this the opening page in the gospel booklet that I share. I recommend that you should look through that material carefully, because I believe it will contain some perspective of His character that will assist you to rightly recognise Him again (Matthew 10:16).

Jesus also has this message for you: 2 Corinthians 2:3-4. Do not be mistaken to think that it comes from my own heart, because that is definitely not the way I operate (Jeremiah 23:21-22).

It is only the unrepented sinner who is unconcerned about the state of his soul.

Learn from your petty tantrum and start actively following your saviour.

Take a good look at what Jesus went throughin order to save you.
Do you really think have suffered more than you or I can comprehend to save you, he is going to let you walk away.

God is merciful and gracious in love. He will welcome you back. Think of the story of the Prodigal Son.

Have faith (God gives each of us a measure of faith) and keep speaking God's Word over your life.....your words are very powerful so be careful what you speak, speak LIFE not Death: Proverbs 18:21 Death and Life are in the power of the tongue and they who love it will eat its fruit.
Remember: Satan is a liar, false accuser, condemns, kills, steals and destroys, immediately tries to steal the Word out of your heart that you just received, robs you of your peace and joy, attacks continually.
Truth: you are the apple of His eye, he leaves the 99 to find the 1 that is lost, when he who was lost is now found the Host of Angels rejoice in heaven, He loves you more than you can comprehend, His Mercy and Grace is NEW EVERYDAY, He cast your sins into the sea of forgetfulness and remembers them no more, as far as the east is from the west has He removed your sins from you, the fervent prayers of a righteous man availeth much, cast all your burdens (fears) on Him for he careth for you.

Seek Him...the Bible says If you seek Me you will Find me! So even if you can't feel Him in your life at this very minute just keep seeking...you will find Him!

Hey there Vy. Just wanted to say that I don't think you're going to Hell for what you did. I'm admittedly not a Christian just yet, but I don't think that God would send you to Hell for abandoning him as a teenager. Everybody slips up sometimes in their faith. Even I have, to be honest. But sometimes I think it is all a part of God's plan for us to stray away for a bit. Sometimes doing that helps us to learn more about where we come from and, in the end, bring us closer to God. So no, I don't think God would send you to Hell for being an ex-apostate. If you're wanting to come back to Christianity, or even if you're not sure just yet, I'm sure that God is smiling at you with open arms, asking you to come home to him and telling you that you are forgiven in his eyes.

I'll pray for you too!
