Damien Rice anyone?

I first heard this guy with his song "The Blower's Daughter" as the title track for the movie "Closer". I have found several songs by him online by now and boy - does he play beautiful songs!

my other half likes damien rice although i prefer music a little more noisy but i do appreciate him all the same, for me he makes good 'background' music, say if your just relaxing while reading a book or going to sleep

I saw him live at the behest of a friend, and he totally seduced the entire audience. There wasn't a peep from the whole crowd during the first few songs.
