Spirituality is not some ritualistic process by which a couple weekly visits to the local "church" will satisfy you. Your walk with God, Jesus and the kingdom of heaven must become a part of who you are, to the point where you cant stop thinking about your God and his righteousness(taking up your cross-DAILY-and following Jesus). We also deny ourselves for the kingdom but we know that it is for our own good.
If you find others who say, "God dxxx it" or "Oh my God" to be offensive(mainly because they do not know what they are saying) then you are on the right track. If you yourself don't even notice yourself saying those things then you may be in trouble. You must seek the truth with all your heart and once you seek you will find(but understand your heart must be right before the Lord before he will reveal his light to you).
We are not talking about another protocol of man but a separation of your heart from the way and people of and in the world. A circumcision of the heart(a spiritual Jew). Once this happens you know you are different and you become outcast from the World.
Jesus was constantly saying to be on your guard, giving spiritual references and parables so once you are revealed these things you will know the power and mystery of God(If you've experienced these mysteries or his presence you know what I'm talking about). These powers and mysteries(even the Lord revealing himself to you in your dreams) gives you enough reverence to know that God isn't just some drop-in-the-bucket you can turn off and on like some light when your ready to use him.
God is the spiritual force which enables all creation to exist. He is literally everywhere. Nothing cannot exist without him and without him there are none of his blessings. The only reason I'm typing these things out is perhaps i will inspire some of you(and to speak the truth so i can hear it as well) who just need a little push in the right direction or who need a good word from a brother. Be strong in the Lord and know that i am praying for you and i hope that you are for me.
Know that prayer is the force that enables God to work. Why has the Lord always used his servants to do his bidding? Because a physical force is needed for his spiritual being to act on its behalf, otherwise the Lord would compromise himself(in this corrupted world we now live). The Lord has servants on the Earth also because they are there for a reason(to use them). He doesn't create servants or objects for no reason but understand that everyone(whether righteous or wicked) have a choice and even his people(though very difficult to do) can turn from him and rebuke God(don't do it). This is why all we need do is ask and pray for the betterment of all our people(or individuals) and if we have faith enough the Lord will grant it! May the Lord be with all of you.
