Father, You know ALL things. We do not, for we are finite, and we cannot see the forces that are at work, and have been, in the dark and hidden places, in secret. Yet You DO see all things. Therefore, we TRUST in YOU, our GOOD Shepherd, our Protector, our Defender, our Rock, and our Tower, where we find safety, refuge, peace and rest. I lift up ALL unseen forces that rage against You, and us, and that forget and are irretrievably blind to what You declare in Your Word, and that is, that those that dig a pit for others will fall in it themselves, and that those that roll a boulder to crush others with it, will be crushed by that same boulder. ALL that is, and has been happening, is in YOUR realm Father, for it is beyond us, and whatever we mistakenly think or foolishly believe that WE can fight of resolve, for indeed, as it is written, the battle is YOUR battle. In the meantime we stand, in Your armor, and we pray to You, our Deliverer. For we know that the enemy, and his minions, and his agents are no match for You, and never HAVE been. Therefore we lift it ALL up to You, in the name of Jesus the Christ, the only begotten Son of You, the living God, the God of the living, and may it all be for YOUR glory, amen.

The power of prayer to move God to restore a nation

During this most important election in a generation, problems have been exposed for all to see. Ones so serious they can no longer be ignored.

The facts reveal the national debt exceeds that of all America’s combined history; its moral decline reveals a departure from the country’s foundational strengths; and political division in the U.S. reveals leadership’s diversion from founding truths.

These expose America as broken and captives of the deceitfulness of evil. But the division above all of these problems, the crisis that could destroy the United States – is the battle of opposing worldviews.

By God’s providence, America was founded and established by godly men and women who courageously determined to follow biblical principles at great cost. These principles have been challenged throughout history and have called leaders and the people to stand up and fight to hold on to God-given freedoms that have provided great blessings as a testimony to the world.

Over recent years Satan has deceptively taken the United States captive in many different arenas in order to create chaos and crisis in an attempt to destroy. Yet this also gives opportunity for God’s mighty power to bring about His plan for America!

Nehemiah was confronted by the brokenness in his country and the captivity of his people. “And they said to me, ‘The remnant there in the province who had survived the exile is in great trouble and shame. The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates are destroyed by fire.’ As soon as I heard these words I sat down and wept and mourned for days.” (Nehemiah 1:3-4)

Does the state of America cause you to weep and mourn like Nehemiah? The nation’s severe deterioration begs the attention and the commitment for godly representatives of Congress to lead the country by depending on God the Father through prayer – and for Christian Americans to intercede on behalf of God’s chosen leaders of the Congress of the United States to be convicted by the Holy Spirit and to be given:

Discernment
Wisdom
Courage
Boldness
Truth
Determination
Strength
Perseverance
Nehemiah’s prayer continued:

“And I continued fasting and praying before the God of heaven. And I said, ‘O Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, let your ear be attentive and your eyes open, to hear the prayer of your servant that I now pray before you day and night for the people of Israel your servants, confessing the sins of the people of Israel, which we have sinned against you. Even I and my father’s house have sinned’.” (Nehemiah 1:4-6)

In studying Nehemiah you learn that God worked through Nehemiah and placed him a position of governmental leadership. There, he engaged the people to join him in a rebuilding process that was astoundingly accomplished in 53 days despite opposition and challenges. In the end, God’s redemptive purposes for Israel were accomplished.

By God’s sovereign power – prayer helps to rebuild.
By God’s sovereignty – prayer defeats opponents.
By God’s sovereignty – prayer touches the minds of even those against His plans…and moves them favorably toward His plans.
It is time that Americans mourn, fast, confess and humble themselves before God and seek forgiveness.

Father it's time for an interlude, to just stop the wheels, to just be still, and to breeeeeeathe. An hour ago i was in "unrest" and thus, on that wheel, wasn't i? THEN You ministered to me with a "holy interruption", of the most loving kind, and with it came Your bless-ed "stillness"and thus Your peace, and Your precious and delightful joy, that DOES prompt me to actually "LOL" haha......Thank You Father. THIS is how You "equip" us, isn't it? Your Word comes to mind, where it is written that "the joy of the Lord is your strength". Your JOY is like "armor", isn't it? It's "impenetrable", and Satan has no defense againsf it....it disarms Him.

Thank You for "interrupting" me this morning. You are DELIGHTFUL. i love You. Now i lift up this country to You, all of us, the American people, and our President, and all of our leaders, not just in this country, but the world over, in the name of Jesus, amen. (((hug)))

My daughter mentioned reading and praying the book of Jude today. There's a summary of Jude on the first page that was powerful and timely:

"Fight! Contend! Do battle! When apostasy arises, when false teachers emerge, when the truth of God is attacked, it is time to fight for the faith. Only believers who are spiritually "in shape" can answer the summons. At the. beginning of his letter Jude focuses on the believers' common salvation, but then feels compelled to challenge them to contend for the faith. Thd danger is real. False teachers have crept into the church turning God's grace into unbounded license to do as they please. Jude reminds such men of God's past dealings with unbelieving Israel, disobedient angels, and wicked Sodom and Gommorah. In the face of such danger Christians should not be caught off guard. The challenge is great, but so is the God Who is able to keep thdm from stumbling."

Father i lift up all of us, those who are called by Your name and covered by the righteousness of Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to take Your admonitions to heart, and therefore equipped and "in shape" to "contend for the faith" and to "fight the good fight" as it is written in Your Word. Father, we do so now, in this very moment, for this nation, and all the turmoil, chaos, confusion, and deception that is rampant, now in this moment. We ask that You quell it and bring it, and the enemy's plans, schemes, and wiles to nought. May Isaiah 54 verse 15 and verse 17 be rolled out like a scroll, as Your promises in those verses fold out before us as a carpet, in !the name of Jesus, amen.

Father, this country is in the midst of one tsunami of turmoil after the other, as darkness and deceit, that hides in that darkness appears to be getting thicker and thicker.

Yet, Your Light pierces ALL darkness and scatters it, and all that hide in that darkness. Father, may it be so. Let freedom ring, throughout the north, the south, the east, and the west, from sea to shining sea, and may Your Light shine, and Your Truth reign, throughout this land. Protect and defend this country, and the American people, and the President, from ALL that is not of You, in the name of Jesus, amen.

Father, You know my heart, even when i am speechless and shut down, with no words. You know the burden that is in my very heart right now. Read my heart as i liff up this country, and us, the American people, and our President to You, and as Proverbs 13 comes to mind along with Brian Doerksen's version of Psalm 13 that he sings, and how my heart is right in sync with it. Raging Nations.

Praying for our protection, here in this country, and for our President. May all that seek our harm, both inside and outside our borders, be stifled and brought to naught and their plans for our demise be brought to confusion, and dry up and blow away with the wind. May secret plans, especially of our demise, be brought to light, as Your Light pierces through that thick seemingly impenetrable darkness, shattering and scattering that darkness and all that hide in that darkness. You are our Shield and our Rock. We trust in You. Just as You have always heard Your own throughout history, do so now, in the name of Jesus the Christ, the only begotten Son of You, the living God, the God of the living, amen.

Father, in the name of Jesus, shine Your Light and Your Truth smack into the middle of the thick, heavy, and layered darkness that sooo permeates and surrounds most of our government, and those in that government that seek our nation's demise, as well as the media (nearly all of it, that spews that darkness). Shine Your Light and Your Truth into the hearts and minds of those in this country who are here merely to join in and attempt to destroy our nation and our freedoms and our liberties, in conjunction with those factions all throughout our government and media attempting to do so and spewing their toxicity at this very moment. It is only by Your grace and Your mercy that our nation still stands as it does and has not gone down in a heap of lost sovereignty. Thank You that You have extended Your grace to us, and that we are given the opportunity to lift our nation, our President, and all in our government to You, and that we can lift us, the American people up to You. Protect and defend our President, and our nation, and us, the American people. May we give more and more glory to You, our gracious and merciful God, in the name of Jesus, amen. (((hug)))

Father, in the name of Jesus, protect and defend us from any evil from outside and/or inside our borders, and from the highest ranks of our government, including all those surrounding our President, and beyond. Mercy.
On this day before our country's official "Thanksgiving Day", intended to be a day of commemoration, remembering, and honoring You, our GOOD God, Who established us in freedom, liberty, and obliterated tyranny, yet true thankfulness has been replaced with anything BUT remembrance of You, and a truly thankful heart that honors You. I ask Your forgiveness, Father. I stand in the gap, for this country that has all but forgotten You, except for Your remnant. Just as Abraham pleaded with You over his nephew Lot, and his family, i plead with You, to spare this country, for the sakes of those who stand in the gap, and truly love you. No, we do NOT deserve Your mercy or Your grace. Yet You LOVE mercy, and we throw ourselves before Your mercy on behalf of our loved ones, who are far from You, and all of our families, and this country. We are on a precipice of no return. Only You can change that course, and i ask You to, for YOUR mercy's sake and for Your glory. May we be still and KNOW that You are God, and in quietness and confidence, have strength, as we wait on You, quietly, in the name of Jesus the Christ, the only begotten Son of You, the living God, the God of the living, amen.
