Yes, they are gorgeous!! Splendid, Regal, Magnificent really beyond words.

Yet, in a very real way, even as yet remote fashion, I can relate to them

You know many horses are big, ie POWERful, & they can run FAST.
Yet,
these Trained... horses have an added feature: they STEP HIGH & this makes them look as if they are suspended in the air...
(if they weren't quite so husky), you could think they were Floating... in air.

Well you see, there are Figureskating techniques,
similar to this, in which
1. the HIGHER you allow yourself to STEP into a jump,
2. plus OPEN, plus ...
the more opportunity you have to do things in the air, called DELAYED-jumps, also look like you are Floating...in air.
(down the road for me, lol). However,
one of the best to demonstrate these skills is none other than Jozef Sabovcik (nicknamed Jumping Joe)
(This skater has performed as our guest-Star, at our rink 4 times).
I say that because I don't know if Dave would allow a U-tube
of him performing his DELAYED axels in this thread; and
also when you watch a movie of someone skating, it is NOT the same
as experiencing them *in Person* a mere 2 feet away from you,
and as he gets his SPEED in preparation, you feel that POWER, &
as he launches into the air and hangs there (if only for a split second), it seems as if Time stops.

Anyway, thanks for showing these Magnificent horses.

Hi Dave,
That is quite ok. Tho I appreciated the effort you made to accommodate wish...
because as I said: that one waterFALL in particular,
made me stop breathing, & I had to get AWAY from it, so
prolly God told you to delete them. And
you can find for the above: *positive* Scripture-pictures,
as I'm just another of God's little kiddos

She never quite got her own horsey, but she found another one she got to help care for, with whom she made friends.

I'll never forget the day we were at the State-fair, where later in 4H she won one Blue ribbon after another. - Yet
on this particular day, she was prekindergarten, when outa the blue, she announced, & in no uncertain terms: "Mommy, we are NOT leaving here, unless it's with a horse that I get to pick"
