I know there is an asthma/airways section but since CF is much more than a lung disease...

Anyone else with CF?

I don't have it but I have a friend who does. Have'n't seen him in awhile and it caused him to miss school awhole lot.

I also have a friend who has CF. Generally he's been keeping well except at the beginning of the year when he came back from spending a while in England, it was very cold and he was sick for quite along time. He's doing well now.

I have a friend at school with CF and another person died of it I'm thinking I could also have it because I cough so much my lungs almost cough up. I also taste salty which is a pain. I have frewuent chest infections Im sick right now and my chest hurts. I also have asthma.

The test for CF is easy and painless. I was a later diagnosed case of CF (age 16) despite classic symptoms. CF can have so many manifestations that it wouldn't hurt to talk to your doctor about getting a sweat test

i have cf as well, mine is a little more on the serious side but because of a miracle i was just taken of the transplant list to get another shot before i go back on!
