Last night my parish was selling a CD that they CYO youth had made in order to make money to go to the Stuebenville Conference.
They made a CD of the Stations of the Cross. I didn't have the money to buy it right then, but I plan to.
I think this would be a fabulous idea for CYO's to do for any type of fundraising, or just as a project.
Although I do want to suggest/warn about a few things:
*Make sure everyone in the class is involved in some way, it's really easy for the more active members of CYO to leave behind the others (even unintentionally)
*Keep in mind that students are at different levels in their formation and they might know little to nothing about the Stations of the Cross. Even if they did get a pamphlet about it or it was covered in class for a few minutes one day. There could be a sort of 'primer-class' for people to ask the elementary questions. And then others can share what insites and growing they have down by doing this devotion.
