Because..?
Their very existence depends on the digital networks... for business, finance, and most importantly surveillance. Right now the onus is on hackers, be they good or bad, but ultimately it will be on anyone with ability to shut off the power. Their empire is built on sand.

A quote from the site re the agenda:

'The financial industry is always among the first to embrace innovations. Today we see a rapid spread of digital currencies, which are already accepted for payment by some marketplaces.

What risks does the development of digital currencies entail? Can it affect the resilience of financial institutions? How to protect the financial system against the inevitable threats posed by technological advances?'

I'm getting in extra supplies ready for the complete breakdown of civilisation.
I bought canned beans on sale.

I'd argue putting the entire plan out in the public domain for anyone and everyone to see is the dictionary definition of whatever the opposite of a conspiracy theory is.
It's their universal law.

They have to tell you what they're going to do, before they do it, to gain your consent.

And they know that most of the populace are stupid. Harsh, but true. They tell us all the time, and people dismiss it. That's why we're in our current predicament.

Very true and as we are seeing them (Corporatism) upping the control of the narrative lately, that shows that not only are they at a pivotal point of gaining that control, but that the old ways and yes even the US constitution will no longer apply as that would be like comparing state legislature to federal, although only in this new world, they both will bow to global.

Still doesn't make it a conspiracy.

They have to tell you what they're going to do, before they do it, to gain your consent.

Or, in other words, the diametric opposite of a conspiracy, and more, the expected function of a democratic government, my doctor, the guy that drives the local school bus, and any decent human being. But if you'd rather "they". didn't tell you what they're going to do, move to North Korea.

And they know that most of the populace are stupid. Harsh, but true. They tell us all the time, and people dismiss it. That's why we're in our current predicament.

On that we agree. Still doesn't make it a conspiracy, which is the only part of the OP I was referring to in the post you quoted.

It’s possible. Many large businesses run mainly on computers, apps, internal networks, etc. If a system used by a grocery store goes down, guess what? Inventory, cash registers, payroll, shipments of goods, it all takes a hit. The company becomes locked.

It is hilarious when the linear thinking human (population) steps into a generational thinking matrix (entity) not grasping the aforementioned conceptual sentence here-in, that is the reality of self . Questions of "when", a concept becomes reality through sincere ignorance of what can stop it now.

For clarification on above paragraph look to the term "entity" and how many amendments to a populational constitution over the past...
200 years <- generational thinking vs the linear thinking human.

We could probably use the same timeline on the cyber pandemic that they used with the health pandemic.. months. Actually if you pay attention to the so called cyber attacks recently we may already have started by getting the people fearful of attacks so the saviours can step in. Keep in mind what Gates said a year ago when he said the next pandemic would be worse. He said pandemic, not virus.

Just checking in now that 2 months have passed. Any sign of the cyber pandemic yet?
