Posts don't come terribly swift all of the time, so please be patient.
Cutting is a very addictive thing to do. Depression isn't easy to prevent or end, but sometimes you must put faith into yourself and God in order to gain relief.
What leads you to cut? Is there a certain thought or action that does it? If you can avoid anything that makes you want to mutilate yourself, then you may find help, there.
As well, I believe that staying away from objects which you cut yourself with may help. Sometimes, the sight of the tool can invoke a lust for cutting.
Some people enjoy it, others get relief from it. Like any harmful things, it should be avoided and taken very seriously. I have no direct approach to help you stop harming yourself, but I will keep you in my prayers, if you believe that will help.
