I was playing San Andreas for a while, but it just got so tedious. The fact that you lose all your weapons when you die (and they're a pain to find again), that you lose your suped up car when it explodes, that some of the most inane missions are so difficult and that the city is so freaking huge to drive around in, I just started losing interest. Maybe Mercenaries would be more interesting to me, I don't know.PS2 GTA San Andreas(not far in it)

I'm switched though to one of my favorite games of all time, Final Fantasy Tactics for Ps1.
I own FFT Advanced and Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis for the Gameboy Advanced and play them on my DS. I picked up TO:KoL again from where I left off, and so far I've logged more than 98 hours of gameplay. It's a bit tedious leveling up, and the move and act commands aren't sequentially interchangable (must move first, then act) but you get to work with a maximum of eight characters at a time in battle, and I believe there are more creatures available in this game. There's a bunch of what I would consider arbitrary information that you select at the beginning of the game, like birthday and other seemingly nonsensical personality traits that don't really come into play in the average battle, as well as inherent fire, earth, water, air, dark, etc. alignments for individual characters, all of which I consider to be so complicated as to be impossible to use to your advantage and thus useless, somewhat similar to the astrological alignments in FFT for PS1.That game is brilliant.
