About 1 year ago I went to a church. I would always ride the church van. The van driver seemed nice..but the more I went..the more I heard him talking constantly about demons. Dont get me wrong..you are suppose to be aware of theses things. But thats all he talked about. Eventually he told 7 of the teens...6 were girls, the 7th was his adopted son, that the Lord told him to start a thing called "The Seven"...innocent enough..he starting teaching us how to feel demons..and even see them. One night he took us to a grave yard and told us to come up 2-by-2 to see some demons. Soon after...my dad past away. This man then told me and the rest of the van kids that my mom was possesed. And was telling me all kinds of stuff...I realized it wasnt right and my mom went to the Pastor..he did nothing and the van driver denied everything (which there was more to happen Im just not going into detail) Was I in the right? or was he?

I don't know the full situation, but by your account, you were in the right and he was greatly in the wrong. It is wrong to talk to demons, just as wrong as it is to sell your soul to the devil. I seriously doubt "The Lord" told him to do this, I imagine it was more like the prince of the air. By the way, I think it is this guy who is possessed rather than your mom. If I were you, I would either find a new church, or get some of the other van kids together and take it straight to the pastor. That bus driver needs to be prayed for severely!

It looks like one weird guy, probably he is mentally ill .Cult leaders are mentally ill and/or spiritually deceived but unlike the weirdo you describe, they never deny their teachings because they are so certain they are right and most of the rest of the world is wrong.Because this nut felt driven to talk about demons constantly and even tried to get you to see them,it's likely that he was demon possessed himself. You are describing a mobile demon introduction service for teens operated by a church. But here's some wisdom you can gain from this experience:most people who claim to be Christians are not.All you have to do is read the newspaper headlines to see how much evil so-called Christians engage in daily.Even worse, there are many satanic cults that send their members out to fill churches with false unChristian beliefs and practices and attempt to get their members to engage in sinful behavior by becoming active in church activities and working the way into leadership positions. In fact you can see this happening on this message board.I know of one girl who after becoming active in a church youth group, started to invite the boys in the group every single time the group met, to meet in an empty room down the hall to engage in oral sex with her. In these last days you really need to test people with this teaching:"BY THEIR FRUITS YE SHALL KNOW THEM"

I think you were in the right. I mean, come on! No Christian should try to get people... teens at that, to see and feel demons. It sounds kind of like a cult. I don't think I'd feel to comfortable in your position either. But yeah, I think you definitely did the right thing.

Based upon what you have said, the bus driver was way out of line.

Have any of the other kids spoken to the pastor? It is very important that they do so for the sake of the church. Demons are real and Christians need to be aware of them, but this guy sounds unqualified to be teaching you about them. And he clearly chose the wrong places and enviroment in which to do the teaching.

Try and get your friend to also go and talk with the pastor. If the pastor then refuses to act, I think you need to give serious thought to the wisdom of remaining in that church.

I dont go to this church anymore thank God. But the other girls in this thing..its like they dont even see anything wrong with it. When I went to the Pastor (who has been good friends with the van driver for a long time) he just said he would speak with him..so far the man is still doing what he does. I just ask of yall to pray that the Lord would bring my friends out of this church and this man away from the teens. Thank yall much!

For some reason this reminds me of the passage in acts, "I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you" The men suffered a pretty tremendous beating for talking to demons and calling on people they had no relationship with. I would have no wish to engage in that kind of fight myself. I know I am too weak to fight such things. I can barely master myself for short periods.

There is indeed alot of wierd **** out there. Main thing is to keep grounded in the Word of God and in prayer. It should keep you from going too far afield.
