hmmm........i'm not really sure what you mean, can you give me an example of a scriptural symbol which would be used across the board with only one meaning/application? no possible neg plus pos or no other possible meaning?
if this is what you mean, and if this is what you can offer as an example, then i will for sure accept it.
even though a scriptural symbol can be used 99 % of the time in the same way, that is not to say that it can't be used in another way.
even in our own dream journals...... you'll find that God may use one symbol the same way most of the time, but that doesn't make it a 'dictionary' where you can interpret a dream according to it.........the symbols are to take to God in prayer, and LISTEN
understanding our dreams according to a symbol dictionary would be similar to reading the bible for understanding by written word only and not with the help of The Spirit. on one level you know what the words say, but the deeper and more true level comes by Spirit.
