CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm doing well. Better than yesterday I think. I had a pretty good week. Hopefully the next one is going to be better. I wanna pray more and get closer to God.

Well, apart from many struggles it's great.
Memorizing scriptures is a good idea. I've got a few pieces of paper on which I wrote some verses and memorized a couple. I carry them around in my wallet.
I think I ought to get a pocket sized Bible, but I don't know where to look. I should have asked at the Church today.

That sounds nice, I have a lot of pocket bibles
I love to caring them around with me wherever I go. I got them from this website Christianbook.com - Shop for Christian Books, Bibles, Music, Homeschool Products, Gifts & more I once had a pocket sized NT, but I left in my pocket when I did laundry...
Oh no
I remember my little sister once left her's outside and it got rained on. Another time my dog (when he was a puppy) chewed up one of my good study bibles, I guess things happen.

I don't see any scriptural support for such. Existence of aliens would also imply evolution which I take to be the most absurd thing ever.

I only wish the sermon was a little longer but that's just me. I love long sermons.
It was great tho. God revealed to me something important. Small stuff matter to Jesus like giving homeless some money or food. I can't believe it didn't come across my mind in weeks.

I wanna get rid of this fear that randomly comes; that is; lack of assurance in salvation. That's not the goal tho but it will help me get focused on God. Love is self forgetful. I wanna learn how to be like that.
