Edwards is a huckster that is exploiting people's grief. He asks questions of the people and gets his answers from their body language, and that is all that it is. I find this to be pretty sick and yes we should pray for Edwards and those who think he is genuine.

100% agreed, Jeff. These cold readers are nothing but a bunch of rubbish. Have you seen how angry he gets if he mentions someone's name that has no connection to the person? He is like: "THINK! I am seeing these images, there MUST be a connection, so THINK!". What a nutter...

Folks, the relevations of reformed carnies, mentalists, and "Psychics" show an overwelming reliance on quite mundane tricks, hoaxes, and flim-flams. Nothing that John Edward does indicates anything but natural means of deception. Lets be furious at his deception and fraud (and trying to portray himself as a "devout" Catholic!).

However, the the demonic influence is still there---mainly that the Enemy is a liar and the Prince of Liars--He tempts people to lie, cheat, and defraud, not just for gain, but to also lead people from the Truth. While praying for JE, we should also warn others of his deceptions --if his ratings suffer (and other like him) then we will do more to foil the Enemy's plans than we possibly could do by dwelling on the remote possibility of active demonic powers
