Crocheters?

Now you are making ME feel old! In 1995 I had been married for 4 years and had 2 kids! I'll admit, there are times the 40-something body feels ancient (did you know the warranty runs out at 40?), but I'm still a kid at heart...most of the time.

lol, oh please, I got enough standing at the bus bus stop at 9 degrees. and walking a mile and a 1/2 in the freexing cold.

Yes. What is the hardest part of crocheting for you guys...girls...crocheters? = D

For me it's the second row of anything. The first row's easy and I can get from 3rd on, but the second just doesn't want to work with me.

The hardest part for me is counting looong starting chains with the kids around.

Getting the ytension right when I'm crocheting the chain, as too often I seem to end up with a tighter tension in the chains than in the normal rows.

Yeah I did a chain the other day and it was so hard to get it right!!!

Oh yeah, the chains can be ahastle sometimes as well. I had forgotten aout that. Lol.

LOL - i can make the chain but i'm not so good at figuring out where the next part goes!!! i can't count the stitches very well

For me the hardest thing is the first row into the chain, especially if I'm working with thread... ...but it does get done... I just dislike trying to get the hook under the proper two threads. I usually cheat... shhhhh.

lol - is it easy to cheat???? I'm realy struggling with crotchet and people have told me it's easier than knitting - i find knitting really easy!!! you 'd think crotchet wouldn't be so hard

I've never heard anyone say that knitting is easier...hmm...

lol - i love to knit and have known how to do it reasonably well for a year and half - i think it's great!!!

Most people sa that crocheting is easier, and personally it looks easier. No offence

none taken i have heard people say that crotchet is easier but i personally don't agree right now - maybe after some practice
