Couldn't do Nanowimo. I don't have enough hours in the day to cram 50,000 words into a month. Took me almost a year to write the 40,000 I have currently.

Thanks, guyz. Well, no sense in hiding behind ones medical problems. Mine is not often easy to discuss being that some times the medical issues can colide with mental wellness and my sense of well being. I am bi polar. I also did not typically handle certain season well. However, this was only my fifth hospitalization since my only scuicide attempt at in my teens. Last year and this year it more like just too much anxiety and panic. I was happy to get a very good pracitcall docotor. I am trying to go slowly for now, but miss CF and my friends here quite a bit. Thanks for the welcome back.

I won't be on much for the next little while. I have to get settled into my roommate's house and I've taken up a couple of crafts to give as gifts this year. So, if ya don't see me around much until January, that's the reason.

Missed you guys, though. I'm happy to spend whatever time I can here.

I can crochet, cross stitch, and all kinds of stuff. But I don't knit or sew, lol. Yet!!!

I think anyone could learn counted cross stitch easily, and the end result is usually beautiful.

I used to embroider small tapestries. Haven't had time for that kind of needlework in ages. This fall, I crocheted 20 hats and scarves for a group that passed them out at a soup kitchen. Right now, I'm working on a crocheted shawl. It's has more of a sweater feel than shawl. However, the sides are open. I work on it mostly while watching BSG.

I can't knit. I love my sewing machine though. I used to enjoy embroidery but now tend to despise hand sewing of any sort. Especially button-holes.
