its not so much that the genes were "extra", but "more complete". They were still closer to the perferction of Adam and Eve to have nearly no misstakes,

One I constantly remember on here is Nil Caborundum illegitimi which is actually nonsense Latin, but appears to mean "Don't let the [word for a person who cuts you up on the M25, or one of illegitimate birth]s grind you down"

I agree, the best cure for creationism is a good education:
