Creationists: can you explain post-Flood repopulation?

[Edit]I cut this part out. It was a bit too harsh.[/Edit]

You look like you have a high-school education in genetics, and you slept through half the class.

I don't think you're in much of a position to mock me with highschool education, 16 year old.
AMEN & AMEN!
He only mocks because as the bible says,it is indeed the
Mocker who invites a beating upon his own back.
The folly of the secular mind always says, " I have Rights"
yet they have no right to denie the living God!!!

Yet, at the grand old age of 17, you have overturned everything currently known about physics, chemistry and biology?
Wrong again! He just rejects the liberal version of it.
Many christian creationist scientists have prove that TOE
is a fairytale and they show why. You simply cannot handle
the truth because you simply do not desire to live right.
You reject God because you's rather be your own god.
But you are not that, you just wish you could be.
It is the fool who says in his heart that there is no God!
A fool is not someone who is smart.

OK, I think it is clear that bluejeans is an atheistic troll taking on the guise of a YEC just to make them look really, really bad. There really is not other possible explanation.

As much as a think YEC'ism is a damaging force within Christianity, I hate those who purposefully mock YEC's in this way even more. It puts Christianity in such a damaging light that even the other YEC's must be wincing in pain at every post.

I wish you had looked at the link I provided, so you could determine if the program was reasonable, or made the assumptions you wanted. If you had, you would have noticed that the assumptions included: 120 yr lifespan, women pregnant as early as possible and are pregnant their entire adult life, no childen die, etc. This is why the population winds up with a ridiculously high percentage of children and pregnant women... but this is the ONLY WAY to get anywhere near the numbers necessary for the repopulation effort.

As for the genetics question, what you suggest is even worse than what we were assuming you meant. Please explain what you mean by the genes being "more complete?" For example, how were the genes that code for hemoglobin "more complete?" The other problem involves simple math. Genes that code for antigens responsible for tissue transplant rejection in humans have literally hundreds of alleles (variants) at each locus. How do you get hundreds of alleles from two people who together could only represent a total of four at each locus? The only way is with mutation over a long period of time.

Why do some christians continue to equate evolution with athiesm, despite the rather large amount of evolutionists who are christian? What's even more amusing is that you then go on to claim that evolution is a religion, and a pagan one at that. Now, I'm not entirely certian what the ancient pagans worshipped, but if it was changing gene frequencies in a population, I'd be rather surprised.

Though, I do agree with your last point - please, do some research!

Everyone should simply ignore bluejeans. Either she is serious and has no interest in learning anything or discussing the issue brought up in the OP, or Vance is correct.

Is it me, or is it not obvious that nobody has made a serious attempt to answer the OP? This is a pretty fundamental question, I would think the answer would be standard by now.

I don't think anyone will. The stamndard response to a problem that YEC literalism cannot answer is to ignore it, or change the subject. Anything that disagrees with their, entirely human, interpretation of Genesis 1 - 3, is ignored of waved away.

And you are only a christian because you are afraid to admit that you are just an animal who is not special and not chosen and that one day you will simply cease to exist.

Look at how fun baseless accusations and uneducated speculation can be!!

Believe me, I am in a position to mock your education in genetics. While I may still be in High School, my education has long ago transcended a High School Education. In the seventh grade, actually.

The difference is that you are content with your half-***ed HS education of Genetics. I was not. It shows; believe me, it shows.

Secondly, its not so much that the genes were "extra", but "more complete".
2 to the two-thousand seventeenth power of children.
Or, it could be in the first child. Or never.

Keep it real!
Do you even know what an allele is?

If you guys want, you can post in this thread. http://www.christianforums.com/t967071

I messed up in my arguments. I realized in retrospect that I was way too lenient in giving them such a huge growth rate. Forgot how much difference .5% can make, and I gave them several whole percentage points.
