I doubt if the subject has ever been seriously explored by either secular method.
Actually it has, and by biologists as well. DNA evidence debunks it.

The evidence I see supports my faith, as does yours.
I don't have any faith. I see no value in it. Please don't attribute your weaknesses to others. I don't have a problem with uncertainty. Do you?

Faith as in confidence regarding science.
Don't be silly. That's not faith.
1. Science has a highly successful track record of ferreting out how things seem to work. No faith involved.
2. All scientific findings are provisional, as is my acceptance. No faith involved.
3. The only smidgeon of a mindset that might contain a tiny bit of faith is my unerring hope that the Big Bang Theory will be refuted, Intelligent Design will be shown to be valid and Relativity will be undermined. Why? Because then a whole New World is opened for exploration.

Among other things creationism prevents social darwinism, the anti-thesis of science.
And who embraced social Darwinism? LOTS of religious folks. To this day.
And in my experience it is just the greatest to have my purely emotional opinions on one side, and hard scientific fact on the other side. Like I said creationism provides a robust constitution to my mind.
Hard scientific facts... creationism... ?

Surely, you jest?

I think you might be projecting here.

I am geologist. A deep affection for uncertainty is a prerequisite.

I'm uncertain about getting deer this year, but I don't fret over it (I usually wind up with 'tag soup'). :( But I am absolutely certain that I will enjoy the season anyway. :)

So I guess the Brits were the real chosen people...

British Israelism theorizes that most of the tribes migrated to northwestern Europe and became many of the Christian countries found there today. They also established populations in north America, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. They are also called WASP's.

Genetic evidence in no way supports this... and this belief system is used to justify atrocities.
