Heck, 4000 years isn't even enough time to produce the genetic variation we see within a single species.1. 4,000 years is not enough time for all the speciation events necessary to produce the variety of species from a few thousand massively inbred "kinds". Remember, those inbred kinds are going to be deficient in genetic diversity. That's what "inbred" means. 4,000 years is not enough time to introduce that genetic variation.
