Creation: "Let there be....." Ever wondered why the word "let" was used here?

Its an interesting choice of words. We would describe these events as "God created" this and that. Rather God said "Let" in every act of creation. Note when man was created it changed to "Let us". This is rarely noticed.
Anyway, it got me thinking if this is a lesson for us when thinking of new ideas. The word "let" implies the person doing things is relaxed and at ease. And don't we get our best ideas when we are relaxed and at ease? Is this a guide for us in how to solve problems and find better ways of doing things and making better decisions?
So ponder why the word let was used here in the Bible and tells us what you think of this.

God was speaking the non-existent things into existence. He literally called those things that be not as though they were.

Jesus spoke to the fig tree using similar wording. This is the Literal Version.

Mark 11:14
14. And answering, Jesus said to it, Let no one eat fruit of you any more to the age. And His disciples heard.

Later in the passage He further described His action with this:

Mark 11:22-23
22. And answering, Jesus said to them, Have faith of God. (note: the God kind of Faith)
23. For truly I say to you, Whoever says to this mountain, Be taken up and be thrown into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be to him, whatever he says.

He spoke and believed that what He said came to pass.
This is what happened in the creation and re-creation. He spoke the words and knew the things He said would come to pass.

Romans 4:17
17. (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

The reading Webster's definition the main usage for the word let is to cause, to make, to permit.
To ease or to relax is defined when the word go is connected to let - as let go.
Definition of LE
I guess one could say he was at ease and relaxed. I just see it as being to allow and to make it so
