  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Howdy y'all

My Mum brought home a new Red Factor canary a few weeks ago. He's absolutely beautiful and sings all the time but we're a little worried about him. He's totally crazy. He just flaps his wings all the time, it's like a nervous kind of flutter, and it's like 24/7 except when he's sleeping or singing. My Mum's worried that it's some kind of neurological condition or something. Does anyone know anything about what it might be? He doesn't seem distressed or anything, we've got another canary in the same room and she's never been like this so it's not to do with where the cage is...

Well anyways, any suggestions would be like totally appreciated.
Thanks!!

Maybe... He was from a pet shop and in a small cage with a lot of other canaries :-(

But it's been going on for over a month now, and it's continuous, he's always flapping, whether he's standing still or moving along his perch.... Hmmm.... ah well, guess I"ll keep an eye on things
